Flinders Ranges Drive

The Stunning Flinders ranges

As an Australian Landscape photographer  on of the first places outside of my home state that I visited and spent some time was the Flinders Ranges, my first trip was 1989, my tent was small it was initially cold and wet but when the rain cleared the freshness of the countryside was just magnificent.

There are so many beautiful drives and walks around hear it is amazing, though I would not recomend you go i summer, for me just a bit to hot.

Every Australian Landscape Photo Safari has a beginning.

Australian Landscape Photographer on six Wheels

In 2010 I hit the road for a three month Landscape Photo Safari. I loved every minute of my trip.
Honestly you cant beat being on the road for an extended time, life is to short to watch fox tell .

It tests your tenacity and focus. Not just in Creating great Australian landscape prints but in surviving the outback.

I just love the sprit of adventure and discovery that you have on these trips. So much to see and do, not to mention the people you meet.

Please remember you can buy my beautiful limited edition Australian landscape prints from.

Australian Landscape Limited Edition Prints direct from Photographer Lloyd Howlett

Hi Everybody it accrued to me just recently that all of you out there might not realise that buying limited edition photos from Lloyd Howlett (my self) via www.australianphotos.com.au goes directly to Lloyd Howlett, there is no middle man/wholesaler of the photos.

Each dollar you spend helps Lloyd Howlett to continue his life task, this being to capture the beauty of Australia as much as is humanly possible before it all changes for ever.

It is just not about selling prints on canvas, it is about sharing the natural beauty of Australia with everyone. Leaving a record for all to see.

I hope this all makes sense to those of you out there.

In search of great landscape photo's, I sometimes get stuck in the mud, not fun.

Hi everyone I was away trying to capture some beautiful Landscape photos of the Murray river area and managed to get my little car and trailer, all 4 tonnes of it hopelessly bogged and as usual I was alone.

Did I mention to my surprise the mosquitos were amazing. I could not believe the size of my bites.

I almost did not bring the 4wheel drive recover gear, luck I did. Always good to be out of the mud.
